If you're looking for an easy and tasty meal for your family, you'll love this slow cooker ham recipe. With just a few minutes of prep time and some honey, pineapple juice, and brown sugar, you can make this delicious ham dish.
Stir together the Dijon mustard and pineapple juice. Set aside.
Add the brown sugar evenly in the bottom of a large 7-8 quart slow cooker.
Place the ham in the crockpot, cut side up.
Pour honey over the top of the ham, covering it as evenly as possible.
Pour the mustard pineapple juice mixture over the top of the honey-covered ham.
Cover and cook on low heat for about 3 to 4 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 140°F, basting with the glaze once an hour, making sure to get the glaze between the cuts.
Serve with the liquid from the crockpot or to thicken the glaze, transfer it to a saucepan and simmer while stirring until it thickens to your liking.
Decorate the serving platter with fresh herbs, then serve with the glaze.
Notes
If you don't feel like basting the ham, you can place it cut-side down in the crockpot. You can have it cut-side up first, get the pineapple juice and honey in between the slices before flipping it.
