Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breast
  • ¼ cup lime juice + extra half a lime to serve
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 2 cups salsa
  • handful fresh cilantro

Instructions

  • In your slow cooker, add in the chicken breasts, lime juice, and taco seasoning.
  • Layer salsa and cilantro on top of the chicken.
  • Set the slow cooker to high for 3 hours. Once done, shred the chicken, and toss to coat the chicken to ensure it’s coated with sauce.
  • Serve immediately with some more lime juice drizzled on top.

Notes

I like to have them in tacos so on a flour tortilla, add lettuce, the shredded chicken, shredded cheese, onions, avocado, and sour cream!
