- 1 tablespoon butter unsalted
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 yellow onion diced finely
- 450 grams sour cream
- 3 teaspoons onion powder
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 to 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoons chives chopped, plus more for garnish
Add the butter and oil to a pot over medium heat. Once the butter has melted, add the diced onions.
Sauté for 10 minutes or until the onions are golden (but not caramelized). Set the onions aside to cool to room temperature.
To a mixing bowl, add the sour cream, cooled onions, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, salt, Worcestershire sauce, and chives.
Mix until well combined. Let sit in the fridge for 10 to 15 minutes before garnishing with more chives and serve.
