Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 to 3 chicken breasts cut into 1-1.5" cubes
  • 6 cloves garlic chopped roughly
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • ¼ cup soy sauce low sodium
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups rotini pasta
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • ½ cup shaved parmesan cheese
  • green onions

Instructions

  • In a large pot or dutch oven, coat the bottom of the pot with sesame oil over medium heat. Add in chicken. Season with salt and pepper and brown the chicken for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  • Add in garlic, honey, sriracha, and brown sugar and stir to combine until the brown sugar has melted.
  • Add in the soy sauce, chicken stock, and rotini pasta and bring to a boil.
  • Lower the heat back down to a simmer and let the pasta cook for 8-9 minutes, stirring occasionally so nothing gets stuck to the bottom.
  • Add in the parmesan and peas, stir and let cook for another 2-3 minutes or until the pasta has cooked through.
  • Serve as is or with green onions as a garnish.
