This baked one-pan tortellini lasagna comes together so quickly and easily with a few simple steps! In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the oil over medium heat and add the diced onions. Saute for 2 to 3 minutes. Add the salt and minced garlic and saute for another minute.
Add the ground beef and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, making sure to break up the pieces with your spatula until the ground beef is almost cooked through, and add the garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. Cook until the beef finishes browning.
Add the marinara sauce, parmesan cheese, and ricotta cheese and mix together until the cheese has melted.
Add the tortellini and cook for another 5 to 6 minutes. Gently smooth everything in the skillet so that it’s even and flat.
Remove from heat and add mozzarella cheese on top of everything. Transfer to the oven for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melty and bubbly. Optional: Broil for a couple of minutes to brown the tops of the cheese, if desired.
