Everything Bagel Salmon

You only need a handful of ingredients to make this simple everything bagel salmon! You won't believe how easy it is to make this salmon recipe, making for a healthy but delicious dinner ready in less than 20 minutes. It's perfect for a quick weeknight meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 1 to 1½ tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons everything but the bagel seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven broiler.
  • Pat dry the salmon fillets with paper towels.
  • Spread the Dijon mustard on the top of the salmon and then sprinkle the everything but the bagel seasoning over the Dijon mustard to create a crust.
  • To a cast iron skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and add the oil.
  • Once the oil and butter mixture is hot, add the salmon to the skillet, skin-side down.
  • Sear for 2 to 3 minutes before carefully transferring the skillet to the oven. Broil the salmon for 3 to 4 minutes or until the salmon is cooked to your preference.

Notes

Add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving for a nice bright tangy flavor.
