Why You'll Love This Air Fryer Recipe

  • It's a pretty versatile recipe as you can enjoy this as a snack so whip it up as an easy dinner. You can also serve it as an appetizer or side dish to share!
  • It's beyond easy to make as you simply toss it in some oil and seasoning and then pop it into the air fryer. The air fryer does all the heavy lifting!
  • It's absolutely addictive! Each bite is crispy but pillowy, you won't even notice you've eaten it all.
  • This is a great lower-carb alternative to regular gnocchi as it's made from cauliflower.

Ingredients You'll Need

Ingredients needed to make air fryer cauliflower gnocchi.
  • Trader Joe’s cauliflower gnocchi — I use the Trader Joe's
  • oil — I like using avocado or olive oil.
  • grated parmesan cheese — because who doesn't love cheese? A little sprinkled on the cauliflower gnocchi is always a plus.
  • garlic powder — just a pinch.
  • marinara sauce — optional but I love serving the gnocchi with marinara as a dip.
  • parsley — optional herbs to top off the dish for a pop of color!

Recipes Variations

  • Change the seasoning to whatever you're craving. Try Italian seasoning, dried basil, red chili flakes, and more!
  • If you have regular gnocchi, try this air fryer gnocchi recipe instead.
  • For an even cheesier cauliflower gnocchi, right after they're done, place the gnocchi close together in the air fryer basket and sprinkle some shredded cheese on top. Air fry for another minute or two or until the cheese has melted.

Tips and Notes

  • This recipe was tested only with TJ's cauliflower gnocchi. However, I'm sure this recipe will work for other brands of frozen cauliflower gnocchi! Let me know down in the comments if you try!
  • There's no need to thaw the frozen cauliflower gnocchi before air frying them.
  • Make sure to separate any gnocchis that are stuck together. That will make sure you get a crispy edge all around.
  • This is best eaten immediately. I recommend only air frying as much as you plan on eating.

Is cauliflower gnocchi healthier than pasta?

While I don't like the idea of saying pasta isn't healthy, cauliflower gnocchi is technically healthier since it's literally made out of a vegetable.

What air fryer are you using?

The pictured air fryer is a 3.5 qt Power XL.

Is cauliflower gnocchi gluten-free?

Trader Joe's cauliflower gnocchi is mostly made of cauliflower and cassava flour. It's naturally gluten-free, dairy-free, and egg-free.

How do I reheat leftovers?

While it's best to enjoy air fryer cauliflower gnocchi immediately, if you have leftovers, you can store them in an airtight container in the fridge for a few days and reheat them in the air fryer until warm again. Usually 400F for 2 to 3 minutes.
