These Sheet Pan Eggs come together so quickly and easily! A cross between sunny side-up eggs and over-easy eggs, baking eggs in the oven is a great hands-free way of preparing breakfast!
If you're cooking for a crowd or simply want to make a fried egg without busting out a skillet, sheet pan eggs are perfect. Once you crack your eggs onto a sheet pan, all you have to do is pop them into a hot oven and you'll have your eggs ready in no time. Breakfast time cannot be any easier!

Why You'll Love This Sheet Pan Recipe
- It's quick and easy. There's no flipping, there's no oil splatter, and there's no need to be hands-on. Simply grease a sheet pan and add the eggs directly on to it.
- It's great for a crowd. I'm using a small sheet pan here but you can feed a crowd by using a larger sheet pan!
- They come out perfectly every time. I've never had a bad batch!
Ingredients You'll Need
- eggs — I find room temperature eggs to be ideal but if you're in a rush, feel free to use cold eggs.
- salt and pepper
- cooking spray — I use oil spray but you can grease your sheet pan with olive oil, butter, etc.
How To Make Sheet Pan Eggs
- Heat the oven to 350F.
- Grease a small sheet pan and crack as 7 to 8 eggs. Sprinkle salt and pepper on top.
- Transfer the sheet pan to the oven, adjust the egg yolks if needed.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the whites have set or the yolks have reached your desired level of doneness.
Recipes Variations
- Season with everything but the bagel seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, or even a pinch of cayenne pepper powder. No need to stick to just salt and pepper!
Tips and Notes
- The eggs do tend to move while on the sheet pan, especially as you walk over to the oven. You can always use the egg shell to gently reposition the eggs on the sheet pan if you want. You can also use a cookier cutter to keep the eggs in place as they bake and remove the rings a few minutes into baking so they stay in their place.
- My favourite way to enjoying sheet pan eggs are over some toasted sliced bread. If you check out my post on how to toast bread in the oven, you can bake them at the same time in the oven. You can even place them on the same sheet pan if you wish.
Kind of. Keep in mind that when reheated, the oven fried eggs may overcook and become rubbery.
I do not recommend freezing sheet pan eggs as the whites will become tough and rubbery.
Try these air fryer breakfast sausages, air fryer breakfast potatoes, blueberry breakfast danish, or strawberry breakfast cheese danish. The classic bacon and toast combine is always welcomed as well!
