  • If you already have softened room temperature butter, then this air fried cinnamon toast comes together quickly. Simply mix together the butter and spread it onto the bread.
  • It's easy to customize. If you'd like softer bread, air fry the cinnamon toast less. If you'd like crispier bread, air fry the cinnamon toast more. However, don't go overboard, as you don't want it to burn.
  • You can make this with kitchen staples! It's perfect when you're not sure what to eat for breakfast.

Ingredients You'll Need

Ingredients needed to make air fryer cinnamon toast.
  • butter — you can use salted or unsalted butter, it's up to you. However, it must be softened as it'll be difficult to mix and spread when cold.
  • cinnamon — you can't make cinnamon toast without cinnamon! You can add a teeny bit of nutmeg if you'd wish but make sure you don't put too much, or it'll be overpowering.
  • brown sugar — I use dark brown sugar, but you can use dark or light brown sugar.
  • vanilla extract — I recommend real vanilla extract over artificial extract.
  • bread — I use thick sliced bread. Use your favorite bread!

  • In a small bowl, add the butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.

  • Air fry at 390F for 4 minutes. However, I recommend checking at the 3-minute mark if you prefer a softer cinnamon toast.

Tips and Notes

  • If you don't want to use brown sugar, you can use honey instead.
  • Make sure your butter is softened to room temperature. You can microwave it in short bursts to get it to soften if you forgot to take it out of the fridge ahead of time.
